Jignasa Foundation

Jignasa Foundation

Online programme for children aged 10 to 16.

Children will be introduced, in a simple and engaging way, to the idea that knowledge is not limited to exams, marks, or school subjects. True knowledge is what helps a person become more thoughtful, responsible, confident, and capable of making better decisions in life. They will learn that knowledge is not merely information, but meaningful understanding.

What Your Child Will Learn

  1. 1

    Importance of Knowledge

Children will learn that knowledge goes beyond exams, marks, and school subjects. True knowledge helps us understand better, act responsibly, build confidence, and make wiser decisions. Through simple examples, they will also explore the difference between information and knowledge, and how asking questions is the first step towards deeper learning.

  2. 2

    Self Discipline

Children will learn that self-discipline is not about following rules out of fear or for a reward, but about having control over oneself. Through real-life examples, they will understand how small habits shape character, how doing things independently builds confidence, and why talent alone is never enough without self-discipline.

  3. 3

    Self Learning

Teachers, parents, and schools play an important role, but true learning begins when a child becomes curious to explore, discover, and understand independently. Children will learn the art of self-learning, simple ways to learn any subject on their own, and the important difference between merely copying information and truly understanding it.

  4. 4

    Time and Work Management

Children will learn the value of time, the importance of a balanced daily routine, and simple ways to plan their work. They will understand how the habit of saying “I’ll do it later” leads to delay and wasted time. Since everyone gets the same 24 hours, how effectively we use them depends on our choices. The session will also highlight the need to set aside time for study, play, reading, sleep, fa

  5. 5

    Screen Discipline

Children will learn to use mobiles, reels, games, and social media wisely and with self-control—not to fear them. They will understand that screens are not the enemy; uncontrolled screen use is the real problem. The session will explain the difference between useful screen use and screen waste, why reels and games can become addictive, whether work should come before screen time, and why clear “sc

  6. 6

    Inspiring Stories

Children will learn, through the life stories of great personalities, that success depends not only on talent but also on curiosity, discipline, perseverance, hard work, strong values, and consistent effort. The focus will be not merely on their achievements, but on the lessons children can draw from their journeys and apply in their own lives.

  7. 7

    Communication and Writing Skills

Children will learn to express themselves clearly, listen attentively, discuss politely, and write their thoughts in simple language. The session will focus on speaking slowly and confidently, asking questions respectfully, expressing disagreement with courtesy, writing in one’s own words, and developing the habit of keeping a diary.

  8. 8

    My Country, My Responsibilities

Children will learn that patriotism is not limited to slogans, songs, or flag ceremonies—it is reflected in responsible everyday behaviour. The session will explore what the country provides to us, what we can contribute in return, what it means to be an aware citizen, and the responsibilities that come with it.
